Karungali Related FAQs
Karungali, also known as Ebony wood (Diospyros melanoxylon), is considered one of the most sacred woods in Sanatan Dharma. It is believed to have powerful protective and spiritual properties, and is used in malas, bracelets, and spiritual accessories for centuries.
All UPAASAK Karungali products are lab-certified using OSOC method. Each product comes with a batch certificate card and QR code linking to the lab report.
Yes. Karungali products are suitable for both men and women. There are no gender-based restrictions in wearing Karungali malas or bracelets.
Keep Karungali products away from water and moisture. Do not use chemical cleaners. Wipe gently with a dry soft cloth. Store in a clean, dry place when not in use.
Rudraksha Related FAQs
Rudraksha beads are sacred seeds associated with Lord Shiva. They are believed to carry divine energy and are worn for spiritual protection, mental peace, and overall well-being. The number of faces (mukhis) on a Rudraksha determines its specific benefit.
All UPAASAK Rudraksha products are lab-certified using OSOC method. Each product comes with a batch certificate card and QR code linking to the lab report.
Apply a small amount of sesame oil or coconut oil periodically to keep the bead moisturised. Avoid soap and chemical contact. Remove before swimming or bathing. Store in a clean cloth pouch when not worn.
Your UPAASAK Rudraksha is pre-energized before dispatch. To deepen personal connection, additionally chant Gayatri Mantra 11 times on the recommended auspicious day before wearing.
Spiritual Bracelets Related FAQs
Our spiritual bracelets are made using authentic natural stones including Amethyst, Tiger Eye, Rose Quartz, Pyrite, Citrine, and 7 Chakra crystals among others. All stones are OSOC lab certified for authenticity.
Crystal bracelets are associated with various energetic and spiritual benefits based on traditional belief systems. For example, Amethyst is associated with peace and clarity, Rose Quartz with love and healing, and Pyrite with prosperity and confidence. These are belief-based associations and not medical claims.
Generally, the left hand is considered the receiving hand and is recommended for wearing crystal bracelets meant for absorbing energy. The right hand is considered the giving hand. However, you may wear it on whichever wrist feels comfortable.
You can cleanse your crystal bracelet by placing it in moonlight overnight or by smudging with incense smoke for 2-3 minutes. Avoid soaking in water as it may damage the elastic cord or certain stones.
Mala Related FAQs
A standard japa mala has 108 beads plus one Sumeru bead (also called the Guru bead). The number 108 holds deep significance in Sanatan Dharma and is connected to astronomical, mathematical, and spiritual principles. The Sumeru bead marks the beginning and end of a japa cycle.
Hold the mala in your right hand, with the beads resting on your middle finger. Use your thumb to pull each bead towards you as you chant your mantra. Do not cross the Sumeru bead; instead, reverse direction to begin another round.
Yes, malas can be worn as jewellery. However, malas used for japa are ideally kept separate and treated with reverence. If you wish to wear a mala as an accessory, consider keeping a separate one for japa practice.
